CLICK! @ College is the pioneering friendship + belonging class that I designed for USC to combat loneliness and promote social wellbeing using my trademarked framework, CLICK™ . It's now for-credit at one of the top 2 U.S. universities and available for licensing to high schools + colleges across the US.
CLICK is a simple, practical method for embracing your place in the human family, creating meaningful connections, and living from the center of your story and values.
CLICK will also help you foster the skills and dispositions to help others feel welcomed and supported, live out their purpose in community, and enjoy life.

Where do we start?
Where we are, as we are, with the time we already have. This is about being honest and being present. It's about the first hello... and what gets in the way of us saying it.
Listening is the foundational skill that allows us to be present to ourselves, each other and the world around us. It's highly complex and difficult to practice amidst the distractions of the daily grind. Yet "being heard is so close to being loved, that for the average person, they are almost indistinguishable."
Oh the assumptions we make before we even realize we're making them! When we slow down to gently investigate our reactions and ask sincere questions that help us get to know people, we've gone far in creating a habit of judgment-free curiosity that sets us up for rich, meaningful relationships.
Kindness is the central disposition we come towards any interaction with. Communicating that openness and care--whether verbally, through body language, or service; whether in digital spaces or in person--is the best (and most ancient!) way to set up a positive interaction that can lead to...who knows! But this is what we have control over: showing up "in a good way."
Our time is maybe our most valuable resource. And relationships can't be microwaved. Having realistic expectations about the time needed to nurture relationships can help us creatively prioritize connection in our days, weeks and season of life.
"Without CLICK I would feel more isolated and hopeless."
“I found it so helpful that we simply had a space to talk about these things. We don't really have conversations like this that are open and low-pressure.”
"Not offering CLICK would be a heavy impact on me or anyone else experiencing loneliness and social isolation. CLICK offered a chance to practice my social skills with others, without being judged or worried that I might offend someone."
"I’m also more attuned to how I listen and how other people listen (or don’t) to me; really happy to learn more ways that I can be myself, while keeping my boundaries without putting up walls."
“CLICK served as a safe haven for me and others during the past month. [Without CLICK] I would have continued acting as I did before + would have missed out on valuable interactions + connections.”
"Depression and anxiety are huge concerns for teens and young adults, but, luckily, we have the salve and that is human connection. Let’s keep CLICK going!”
“Without CLICK, I think I would have continued believing that I was the only person interested in connection. I don't think I would have known to reach out to friends, family, etc. as much as I do now, nor felt confident enough to do it."
“I learned a lot and formed really meaningful connections. I will continue to benefit from it for the rest of my life. You have affected the lives of all of us in an amazing way and made us a better version of ourselves."
"Trust me, you are not alone and CLICK will make you feel so much better about yourself. It will give you the confidence you need to put yourself out there."
"I’ve seen this workshop create palpable change in my life as well as others’ and, from the institution’s side, do so at what I presume is a minimal cost. We put a lot of effort into recruiting brilliant students, but these students will not reach their full potential unless they feel satisfied and connected to others."
“Having built community in my house—I ran for [group] President--and now I’m so excited to facilitate community!” .
“This is what they should really be
teaching us. This is what students really need to know.”
This methodology is trademarked + only works through contextualization.
